Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 21 January 2026:  The UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai 2026) concluded its 30th edition, marking a milestone that crowns three decades of global leadership in dentistry and oral health, and achieving record deals exceeding AED 22 billion with the announcement of Dubai Dental Week, a pioneering initiative that marks three decades of global leadership in dentistry and oral health. AEEDC Dubai witnessed strong international turnout, attracting more than 80,000 visitors and participants from 192 countries worldwide, in addition to 5,860 global brands represented by 4,316 exhibiting companies showcasing the latest technologies and medical supplies for dentistry and oral health. The event reaffirmed AEEDC Dubai’s position as a leading platform for innovation, knowledge exchange, and the strengthening of professional partnerships among leading companies, experts, and health authorities at both the regional and international levels.

Dubai Dental Week is designed as a city-wide concept that brings together the entire dental ecosystem, including business, education, innovation, and community and public engagement, taking a strategic step to enhance collaboration, share expertise, and drive innovation across the sector, supported by Dubai Economy and Tourism and the Dubai Health Authority.

Launched as a strategic initiative by AEEDC Dubai, Dubai Dental Week will be held annually, with its inaugural edition scheduled from 16–22 January 2027 across multiple locations in Dubai. The event will serve as a dynamic global platform, bringing together dental brands, professionals, academics, policymakers, patients, families, and the wider public from around the world. Within this vibrant week, AEEDC Dubai 2027 will take place from 19 to 21 January, highlighting the world’s premier dental exhibition and conference.

The initiative aims to drive economic growth, elevate professional education and training, accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and clinical innovations, and raise public awareness and community understanding of oral health as a key component of overall health and wellbeing, reflecting Dubai’s ongoing commitment to delivering advanced healthcare services and maintaining world-class standards in dentistry.

Through this integrated and inclusive vision, Dubai Dental Week reinforces Dubai’s position as a global hub for innovation, education, public health advancement, and professional excellence in dentistry, shaping the future of the sector locally, regionally, and globally.

The UAE dental sector is witnessing unprecedented growth. The UAE dental care market is projected to reach USD 318 million by 2030, with a compound annual growth rate of 7.4 percent, while UAE dental equipment sales are expected to reach USD 282 million at a 5.25 percent CAGR. In 2024 alone, dental services related to oral health and treatments generated USD 195.3 million, expected to grow to USD 290.49 million by 2030, fueled by increased health awareness, government initiatives promoting preventive dental care, and rising demand from medical tourism. Dubai is home to 4,651 licensed dentists, supported by more than 1,000 dental assistants, hygienists, and other professionals. In the broader Middle East and Africa region, the dental market is valued at USD 1.3 billion in 2024, projected to reach USD 2.81 billion by 2032, with Dubai serving as a central hub of excellence.

Dubai’s reputation as a medical tourism destination further amplifies the significance of Dubai Dental Week. In 2023, the city welcomed 691,000 medical tourists, generating AED 1.03 billion in direct revenue and AED 2.3 billion indirectly through accommodation, transportation, and leisure activities. Notably, 29 percent of these visitors seek dental services, particularly advanced aesthetic procedures such as teeth whitening, veneers, and smile makeovers. Prominent UAE celebrities and influencers have contributed significantly to raising public awareness and interest in dental aesthetics, further strengthening Dubai’s global profile in the sector.

Dubai Dental Week will enhance Dubai’s position as a leading MICE and healthcare hub, supporting the city’s global ranking and economic growth goals. Aligned with Dubai 2033 and the city’s healthcare and medical tourism strategies, the initiative will bring together local and international stakeholders to foster innovation, education, and long-term impact in the dental sector.

A Comprehensive, Inclusive Program for Professionals, Youth, and the Public

Dubai Dental Week will involve all stakeholders in the dental ecosystem, fostering a collaborative and sustainable framework. Participants include dental and oral health professionals, hospitals, clinics, equipment and oral care brands, global partners, specialized media, dental academies, universities, and educational institutions. The initiative encompasses a city-wide schedule of events and activations combining business-to-business programs with public-facing campaigns to enhance oral health awareness, promote education, and educate children and youth on the importance of proper oral hygiene, while also highlighting career pathways within the sector.

The initiative is built around four strategic dimensions that collectively advance Dubai’s role as a global leader in the dental sector. Social awareness dimension emphasizes public health education, promoting oral hygiene, routine check-ups, and raising awareness of the vital link between oral health and overall well-being. Through this focus, the initiative encourages communities to adopt healthier lifestyles and preventative oral care practices.

The scientific excellence gathers a comprehensive educational program for dental professionals, featuring courses, workshops, trainings, and conferences that showcase the latest research, technological advancements, and clinical innovations and practices. This approach empowers practitioners to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cutting-edge dental care.

Finally, the Careers and Talent Development dimension showcases dental programs across universities, colleges, the private sector, and leading dental brands in Dubai and the UAE, offering comprehensive curricula and career pathways that equip the next generation for diverse roles within the sector from research and development to marketing, sales, clinical practice, and beyond. The launch of Dubai Dental Week was announced in the presence of His Excellency Ambassador Professor Abdulsalam AlMadani, Roving Ambassador of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) for the GCC Region, Chairman of AEEDC Dubai, and the Global Scientific Dental Alliance (GSDA), Prof. Dr. Nikolai Sharkov President of FDI World Dental Federation, Ahmed Aljumairi Almheiri, Director of Dubai Business Events, part of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment within Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), and Mohamed Al Mheiri, Director of the Health Tourism Department, Dubai Health Authority,  alongside a number of senior officials, distinguished guests, and media representatives.

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 21 يناير 2026: اختتم مؤتمر الإمارات الدولي لطب الأسنان ومعرض طب الأسنان العربي (إيدك دبي 2026) دورته الثلاثين في محطة تتوّج ثلاثة عقود من الريادة العالمية في مجال طب الأسنان وصحة الفم، مسجّلاً صفقات قياسية بلغت أكثر من 22 مليار درهم، وبالإعلان عن إطلاق أسبوع دبي لطب الأسنان، كمبادرة رائدة تمثّل تطوراً طبيعياً لإرث إيدك دبي وتعكس رؤية دبي الطموحة في رسم مستقبل قطاع طب الأسنان على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي.

وشهد إيدك دبي إقبالاً واسعاً، تجاوز 80,000  زائر ومشارك من 192  دولة حول العالم بالإضافة إلى 5,860  علامة تجارية عالمية تمثل  4,316 شركة عارضة  لأحدث التقنيات والمستلزمات الطبية لطب الأسنان وصحة الفم. ويؤكد إيدك دبي مكانته كمنصة رائدة للابتكار، وتبادل المعرفة، وتعزيز الشراكات المهنية بين أبرز الشركات، والخبراء، والهيئات الصحية على الصعيدين الإقليمي والدولي.

ويأتي أسبوع دبي لطب الأسنان كمفهوم شامل على مستوى المدينة، يجمع منظومة طب الأسنان بأكملها، بما في ذلك قطاعات الأعمال، والتعليم، والابتكار، والتواصل المجتمعي والعام، في خطوة استراتيجية تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون، وتبادل الخبرات، ودفع عجلة الابتكار في القطاع، وذلك بدعم من دائرة الاقتصاد والسياحة في دبي وهيئة الصحة بدبي.

ومن خلال هذه الرؤية المتكاملة والشاملة، يعزز أسبوع دبي لطب الأسنان مكانة دبي كمركز عالمي للابتكار والتعليم وتطوير الصحة العامة والتميّز المهني في طب الأسنان، مساهماً في رسم مستقبل القطاع محلياً وإقليمياً وعالمياً.

ويشهد قطاع طب الأسنان في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة نمواً غير مسبوق. فمن المتوقع أن يصل حجم سوق العناية بالأسنان في الدولة إلى 318 مليون دولار أمريكي بحلول عام 2030، بمعدل نمو سنوي مركب قدره 7,4 في المئة، في حين أنه من المتوقع أن تصل مبيعات معدات طب الأسنان إلى 282 مليون دولار أمريكي بمعدل نمو سنوي مركب يبلغ 5,25 في المئة. وحققت خدمات طب الأسنان المرتبطة بصحة الفم والعلاجات، في عام 2024 وحده، إيرادات بلغت 195,3 مليون دولار أمريكي، ومن المتوقع أن ترتفع إلى 290,49 مليون دولار أمريكي بحلول عام 2030، مدفوعة بزيادة الوعي الصحي، والمبادرات الحكومية التي تشجّع على الرعاية الوقائية للأسنان، وارتفاع الطلب الناتج عن السياحة العلاجية.

وتضم دبي 4,651 طبيب أسنان مرخّصاً، وأكثر من 1,000 من مساعدي أطباء الأسنان، وأخصائيي صحة الفم، وغيرهم من المهنيين. وعلى مستوى منطقة الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا، تقدرت قيمة سوق طب الأسنان بنحو 1,3 مليار دولار أمريكي في عام 2024، مع توقّعات بوصولها إلى 2,81 مليار دولار أمريكي بحلول عام 2032، في حين تواصل دبي دورها كمركز إقليمي للتميّز في هذا المجال.

وتتضاعف أهمية أسبوع دبي لطب الأسنان في ظل المكانة الراسخة لدبي كوجهة رائدة للسياحة العلاجية. ففي عام 2023، استقبلت المدينة 691,000 سائح بغرض العلاج، أسهموا في تحقيق إيرادات مباشرة بلغت 1,03 مليار درهم إماراتي، وإيرادات غير مباشرة بقيمة 2,3 مليار درهم من خلال الإقامة والنقل والأنشطة الترفيهية. ويُذكر أن 29 في المئة من هؤلاء الزوار يقصدون دبي للحصول على خدمات طب الأسنان، ولا سيما الإجراءات التجميلية المتقدمة مثل تبييض الأسنان، والقشور الخزفية، وتحسين الابتسامة. كما أسهم عدد من مشاهير ومؤثري دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة في تعزيز الوعي العام والاهتمام بجماليات طب الأسنان، ما يدعم الحضور العالمي لدبي في هذا القطاع.

وسيسهم أسبوع دبي لطب الأسنان في تعزيز مكانة دبي كمركز عالمي رائد في قطاع الاجتماعات والمؤتمرات والمعارض الطبية والرعاية الصحية، بما يدعم التصنيفات العالمية للمدينة وأهدافها في النمو الاقتصادي. وانسجاماً مع أجندة دبي الاقتصادية 2033 واستراتيجيات الرعاية الصحية والسياحة العلاجية، ستجمع المبادرة أصحاب المصلحة والمعنيين على المستويين المحلي والدولي لتعزيز الابتكار والتعليم وتحقيق أثر مستدام طويل الأمد في قطاع طب الأسنان.

برنامج شامل ومتكامل للمهنيين والشباب والمجتمع

ويجمع أسبوع دبي لطب الأسنان كافة المعنيين وأصحاب المصلحة في منظومة طب الأسنان، بما يرسّخ إطاراً تعاونياً ومستداماً. ويضم المشاركون المتخصصين في قطاعات طب الأسنان وصحة الفم، والمستشفيات، والعيادات، وشركات المعدات الطبية ومنتجات العناية بالفم، والشركاء العالميين، ووسائل الإعلام المتخصصة، والأكاديميات والمعاهد المتخصصة في طب الأسنان، والجامعات، والمؤسسات التعليمية. وتغطي المبادرة برنامجاً متكاملاً على مستوى المدينة يجمع بين أنشطة الأعمال الموجّهة للقطاع المهني ومبادرات مخصصة للمجتمع الأوسع، بهدف تعزيز الوعي بصحة الفم، وتشجيع التعليم، وتثقيف الأطفال والشباب حول أهمية العناية السليمة بالأسنان، إلى جانب تسليط الضوء على المسارات المهنية المتاحة في القطاع.

وتم الإعلان عن إطلاق أسبوع دبي لطب الأسنان بحضور كل من سعادة السفير البروفيسور عبدالسلام المدني، سفير برلمان البحر الأبيض المتوسط في منطقة دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، رئيس إيدك دبي والاتحاد العلمي العالمي لطب الأسنان، والأستاذ الدكتور نيكولاي شاركوف، رئيس الاتحاد العالمي لطب الأسنان FDI، والسيد أحمد الجميري المهيري، مدير إدارة فعاليات دبي للأعمال، المكتب التابع لمؤسسة دبي للمهرجانات والتجزئة في دائرة الاقتصاد والسياحة بدبي ، محمد المهيري مدير إدارة السياحة الصحية في هيئة الصحة بدبي إلى جانب عدد من كبار المسؤولين والشخصيات الرسمية وممثلي وسائل الإعلام.

وجرى تكريم سعادة السفير البرفيسور عبد السلام المدني بحضور عدد من كبار الشخصيات من دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وعدد من أبرز الشخصيات المحلية والعالمية ورؤساء الوفود المشاركة في مؤتمر ومعرض “إيدك دبي” الحدث الأكبر عالمياً المتخصص في طب الأسنان وصحة الفمK الذي تنظم دورته الـ30 في دبي.

بدوره أعرب سعادة السفير البروفيسور عبد السلام المدني، سفير برلمان البحر الأبيض المتوسط في منطقة دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، رئيس إيدك دبي والاتحاد العلمي العالمي لطب الأسنان (GSDA)، ورئيس الكونغرس العالمي للتخصصات الصحية (ICHS)، عن فخره وسعادته بهذا التكريم، وقال: “أنا ممتنٌّ جداً لهذا التكريم العلمي والأكاديمي من جامعة نيويورك، والذي يعكس التقدير الدولي للجهود المبذولة من قبلنا في تطوير القطاع الطبي وتعزيز منظومة التعليم المستمر. وهذا التكريم ليس إنجازاً شخصياً بقدر ما هو اعتراف بأهمية الدور الذي يمكن أن تؤديه الكفاءات الإماراتية في الارتقاء بالقطاع الطبي والتعليم العالي على المستوى العالمي”.

Government of Dubai Media Office – 19 January 2026: His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Health Board of Directors, today opened the 30th edition of the UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai 2026) at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The three-day event runs until 21 January and welcomes more than 74,000 visitors and participants from 155 countries.

His Highness said that AEEDC Dubai has consolidated its position as the world’s largest annual international scientific conference and exhibition for dentistry and oral health, and as a leading global platform for scientific exchange, professional development, and enhanced international cooperation in this vital sector.

His Highness said: “AEEDC Dubai serves as a specialised international platform that brings together experts, academic institutions, and global companies, supporting knowledge exchange and ongoing developments in dental technologies and practices.

During a tour of the event, accompanied by His Excellency Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism; His Excellency Dr. Alawi Alsheikh Ali, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority; and His Excellency Dr. Amer Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health, His Highness visited a number of international pavilions and platforms of global companies and participating health and medical entities. The exhibition brings together more than 5,860 brands represented by 4,319 companies specialising in the latest technologies and supplies for oral and dental health. His Highness was briefed on leading solutions, technologies, and advanced innovations.

His Highness visited the pavilions of Germany, Brazil, Switzerland, Spain, Turkey, Italy, and Korea, where he reviewed advanced innovations and digital solutions in dentistry and oral health. The tour also included visits to the pavilions of Route, Mirai, and Planmeca, in addition to UPA, as well as the launch of the ‘Screen’ platform and a visit to the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences pavilion.

وسعادة الدكتور علوي الشيخ علي، مدير عام هيئة الصحة بدبي، وسعادة الدكتور عامر شريف، المدير التنفيذي لمؤسسة “دبي الصحية”، زار سموه عدداً من الأجنحة الدولية ومنصات الشركات العالمية والجهات الصحية والطبية المشاركة والتي بلغت أكثر من 5,860 علامة تجارية تمثلها 4,319 شركة متخصصة في أحدث التقنيات والمستلزمات الخاصة بصحة الفم والأسنان، حيث اطلع سموه على أبرز الحلول والتقنيات والابتكارات المتطورة في مجال طب الأسنان وصحة الفم.

وخلال جولته في أجنحة النسخة الثلاثين من “إيدك دبي 2026″، زار سموّ الشيخ منصور بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، جناح ألمانيا، حيث اطّلع على أحدث الابتكارات الصناعية والتقنيات المتقدمة في مجال طب الأسنان، ثم توقّف عند جناح البرازيل وتعرّف إلى دور رابطة الصناعات الطبية البرازيلية في دعم تصنيع وتصدير الأجهزة والمنتجات الطبية المتخصصة. كما شملت الجولة زيارة الجناح السويسري الذي يستعرض تقنيات دقيقة وحلولاً متطورة، إلى جانب أجنحة إسبانيا وتركيا وإيطاليا، حيث اطّلع سموّه على ما تقدمه الشركات المشاركة من منتجات وتجهيزات تعكس التطور المتسارع في الصناعات الطبية العالمية.

وتوقّف سموّه كذلك عند جناح كوريا واطّلع على حلول وتقنيات طب الأسنان الرقمية المتقدمة، ثم زار جناح شركة “روت” المتخصصة في حلول زراعة الأسنان، وجناح شركة “ميراي” التي تستعرض تقنيات التصوير الطبي وطب الأسنان الرقمي، إضافة إلى جناح “بلانميكا ” وما تقدمه من أنظمة رقمية متكاملة تشمل الأجهزة السريرية وحلول التصوير والتقنيات الذكية الداعمة للتشخيص والعلاج.

كما شملت الجولة الاطلاع على إطلاق منصة “سكرين” المعنية بعرض الحلول والمحتوى الرقمي في مجال طب الأسنان، وزيارة جناح جامعة محمد بن راشد للطب والعلوم الصحية، حيث اطّلع سموّه على برامجها الأكاديمية ودورها في دعم التعليم الطبي والبحث العلمي، إلى جانب التوقف عند جناح UPA والتعرّف على الحلول والخدمات التي تقدمها لدعم الممارسات السريرية وتعزيز جودة خدمات طب الأسنان.

“استطاع “إيدك دبي” على مدى ثلاثين عاماً متواصلة، أن يتحوّل من حدث متخصص إلى منصة عالمية جامعة تستضيف العالم بأكمله تحت مظلة واحدة، ليصبح اليوم أكبر ملتقى متخصص في طب الأسنان وصحة الفم على مستوى العالم، ومرجعاً دولياً لصناعة القرار العلمي، والتقني، والتجاري في هذا القطاع الحيوي. هذا الإنجاز لم يكن وليد الصدفة، بل نتيجة رؤية بعيدة المدى، واستثمار مستمر في الجودة، والمحتوى العلمي، والشراكات الدولية.”

وأضاف سعادته: “إن استضافة آلاف الخبراء، والعلماء، والممارسين، والشركات العالمية من مختلف القارات سنوياً في دبي للمشاركة في هذا الحدث الكبير، يعكس الثقة الدولية المتنامية بمكانة دولة الإمارات كمركز عالمي للمعرفة الطبية، وبيئة قادرة على جمع العقول، واحتضان الابتكار، وصناعة المستقبل. وقد أسهم إيدك دبي بشكل مباشر في تسريع وتيرة التطور العلمي في قطاع طب الأسنان، ونقل أحدث التقنيات والممارسات العالمية إلى المنطقة، ما انعكس إيجاباً على جودة الرعاية الصحية، وبناء كوادر مهنية عالية الكفاءة.”

محتوى متقدم

بدوره قال الدكتور طارق خوري، الرئيس الفخري لمؤتمر ومعرض إيدك دبي ومستشار مركز طب الأسنان في هيئة الصحة بدبي: “بات إيدك دبي وجهة عالمية تجمع نخبة الخبراء وصنّاع القرار في قطاع طب الأسنان من مختلف أنحاء العالم، لتشكل مساحة حيوية لاستشراف مستقبل هذا التخصص الحيوي. ويأتي البرنامج العلمي لهذا العام انعكاساً لالتزامنا بتقديم محتوى متقدم يواكب التحولات المتسارعة في التقنيات والممارسات الطبية، ويسهم في بناء منظومة تعليمية مستدامة تدعم الابتكار وترتقي بجودة الرعاية الصحية على المستوى الدولي”.

ويحفل البرنامج العلمي لإيدك دبي 2026 بمحتوى غني وشامل يتضمن أكثر من 183 جلسة علمية، و20 ورشة عمل تطبيقية، و390 ملصقاً علمياً، بمشاركة أكثر من 192 متحدثاً دولياً من مختلف التخصصات، تشمل الطب الرقمي للأسنان، وطب الأسنان التجميلي، وتعويضات الأسنان، وعلاج جذور الأسنان، وطب أسنان الأطفال، وإدارة العيادات، وأخلاقيات المهنة، وزراعة الأسنان، وتطبيقات الليزر والروبوت، والطب الشرعي، والطب المجهري، وترميم الأسنان، وتصوير الفم، والتغذية وصحة الفم، وغيرها من التخصصات الدقيقة التي تعكس التطور العلمي المتسارع في هذا القطاع الحيوي.

ويجسّد حضور جمهورية مصر العربية ضيف شرف الدورة الثلاثين عمق العلاقات الأخوية والتاريخية الراسخة التي تجمع دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وجمهورية مصر العربية، والتي تقوم على أسس متينة من التعاون الاستراتيجي، والرؤية المشتركة للتنمية المستدامة، وتكامل الجهود في القطاعات الحيوية.
